Goals of the project
- organization of modern ecologically safe non-metallic raw materials extraction;
- supplying glass-factories in Omsk Region with high quality raw material;
- new working places provision;
- getting profit.
Process layout
Quartz sand production can be divided into 3 stages:
1. Extraction stage;
2. Preliminary concentration stage;
3. Final concentration stage.
First two production stages are accomplished on Mining Unit (MU), which shifts along its exploitation plot according to special scheme. The last stage is realized on the Concentration Plant (CP), which is situated in complex of process buildings.
Distinguishing feature of mining production is that there is no need in outer suppliers – mining and processing technology doesn’t require raw material purchase, except package for the final product. Extraction stage is planned to be realized by hydraulic borehole mining technology (HBM), which is right for field development of semiconsolidated ores (which are presented in Kormilovskiy section).

Competitive advantages
Ore mining and processing enterprise under construction will produce quartz sands with competitive capacity, conditioned by a number of factors:
- territorial proximity to main consumers - glass package - factories under construction, which makes shipping cost reduction;
- using new for extractive industry patented in Russian Federation economical and ecological method of hydraulic borehole mining, applying water recycling in process flowsheet;
- thick layer of quartz sand(10-25 m) in Kormilovskiy section, which is planned to be mined, high quality of this sand, considerable explored reserves of quartz sand;
- territorial proximity to arterial service (power and gas supply), which means reduction of costs of provision building factory with energy resources;
- territorial proximity to federal mains (The Trans-Siberian Railroad and the Federal route M51 “Omsk-Novosibirsk”), which assists in shipment of goods to distant consumers;
- using modern, efficient equipment of Russian and foreign leading producers in flowchart;
- territorial proximity to several settlement of Omsk Region, which population will provide labor force.
In such a way joint effect of these objective factors will raise competitive capacity of future enterprise.
