Quartz sand
Quartz sand is used as filtering feeding in water-filters, production of cans, semi-white glass, insulators, pipes, glass wool, facing slab, tile, lime-sand brick. It also might be used for production of flat window glass, if it is complementary processed. Also quartz sand might serve as a base for production of liquid silicate glass, which is a perspective material in short supply.

Quartz filter sand (State Standard 51641-2000)
This sand is assigned for drinking and waste water purification in water-supply industry, in establishments of food, agricultural, oil, gas, chemical and metallurgical industry. Sand also might be used for domestic filter feeding.
Sand needs to have sanitary-epidemiological services conclusion for water conditioning and purifying.
